2010.

Sequel to 1982's Tron.

From what I can gather from bits and pieces about the plot, Clu (The program Flynn had at the beginning of Tron trying to gain access into the MCP to get the info on his games back) is running around causing havoc in the virtual world. I'm guessing Flynn will have to go back in and try to make everything right (again). If I have the plot wrong, would love to know WTF is going on.

The trailer looks pretty badass though and you can bet I'll be watching this when it hits theatres.

First of all, I'm glad they renamed it from TR2N...I think we can all agree on that. Not that TRON Legacy is that much better...

Second, I need to watch this trailer again when I get home and I can crank the volume but it looks like it could be alright. Are those CG characters with actor's faces on though? I guess it's alright considering the context but looks a bit odd. Or maybe it's just the video...not sure.

It's all pure CG I think. Style-wise, it looks a lot like the Square pictures stuff, particularly Flight of the Osiris which would make sense, given that Square and Disney are all pally after Kingdom Hearts (Which of course had a Tron level in it). Certainly it looks pretty cool from the trailer though and it's nice they got Jeff Bridges back. I'll be keeping an eye on this one.

Yeah this looks ace. I'm happy with the visual style of the tron world, and the music in the trailer is great too, surely a taster of what's to come from Daft Punk.

Nice cast too. I didn't recognise Michael Sheen at first - his apparently larger than life character reminds me of the kind of villian you'd see in a Mad Max film.

"I was paged last night." Apparently this movie also takes place in 1982.
