Anyone notice the Evony adds all over the internet that have rapidly turned into porn? This article shows them all as they escalate into just a picture of boobs. It's pretty hilarious that they've gone that far but at the same time it disturbs me when these adds take 1/5 of my page when I go to see my updates on facebook. In any event, I now have addblock plus!

Is it bad that I actually sat down and started playing it, supporting thier filthy advertising? The concept is interesting enough but there is too much "you should totally buy this item with your credit card" shit.

The best shit is in the chat line of the game every third message is "Oh this is boring where is the tits?" or some variation. I'm not exxagerating either. People are askign where the girls are.

I'm kind of surprised, since I thought that they already owned their own female mascots that had no shortage of tits. Now they're using stolen images of women?

I've only noticed people talking about the ads, though, fwiw.

So Firefox decided that saving cookies is for chumps, and I have to sign into everything every 10 minutes. That means I get to see non-member GFF ads. Guess what I saw today?

Is it wrong that I immediately logged into facebook upon seeing the thread title?

I have considered starting up with Evony but as with other games of its ilk I'm sure I'd get fed up of being told I have to spend real money to get anywhere decent.

I'm not sure how effective this advertising is. It's like, on one hand, it definitely garners attention and gets people to click; on the other, it must really piss off a lot of people to open up a new window, expecting to play a porn game only to find out its like, medieval knights and shit.

Also, isn't Evony that site that had the "be the Evony hotty" contest and a bunch of fat, ugly chicks in their 40's submit their pictures to be the new face of the game?

... -_-" pisses me off immensely, especially adds like this. Honestly never liked MMORPGs from the get go, so I naturally never pay any real attention to these adds, nor do I ever click on them.

At least they went with a great set of tits if they were just going with tits.

I've seen all these adds. I tried to play the game once. It's really crappy, and it lies. It is not easy for you to play it at work.

I tried and got busted.
