So, here comes another round (subtitled "Sorezore no Hane") of everyone's favourite show about a dorky Nice Guy and his literally divine girlfriend (and freeloading sisters). The previous season ended with the Terrible Master Urd arc, and since the series follows the manga somewhat faithfully, it means we'll be seeing the fourth Goddess (Peorth) very soon. In fact, she has a cameo in the first episode...

Same characters, same staff - OP/ED themes still performed by Yoko Ishida - and we're in for another great season.

Since Media Blasters will be snapping this up for certain, probably only AonE-AnY will bother subbing it.

I'm still working my way through season 1, but it's nice to know of a second season when things are just heating up (around episode 7-8) with Urd

AonE-AnY are the subbers I have for the first season as well.

I'm really exicted about one of my favorite series returning for more Goddess action!

I'm pretty sure Media Blasters already licensed the 2nd season. But no matter. I'll download and buy it anyway to support an awesome series on DVD. ^_^

As for episode 1 of the second season...

I think the more important issue here is

At least we have seen from that episode that Belldandy has some good lungs.

Awesome! Here's to another relaxing season of hot goddess action. I don't really know what I like about this show, but I've watched all of it so far. Oh well, love it.

Either that, or the fact that you just want to scream at the screen "KISS HER YOU FUCKING MORON!!!" and are waiting for him to actually listen.

I'm attaching a TV rip of the opening theme, Shiawase no Iro by the usual team (Kouhei Tanaka and Yoko Ishida). Single comes out 4/26. So preordered.

AonE has about 4 episodes, but due to some internal problems (some guy they fired screwed everything up) they don't have 5-8 done yet.

Ahh... well I guess I'll have someone mail me the episodes in a month, or I'll try and download them ;_; sometime...

These are for season 2 obviously. Maybe you should have them linked in your first post, Biglbah?

Also, they appear to have 5-8 on Youtube, but split because of the file size limit. I have no
idea if they are subbed or are Raws.

Actually AonE and the other group decided to start subbing widescreen versions which are aired three weeks after the normal version, so that's why those releases with AMG will take some time.

Probably that IrcRizon ircop incident didn't mess up AMG releases, Naruto releases probably took the worst damage.

And hopefully Media Blasters will license this fast~~

When I first heard the first few seconds of the OP song, I had to turn down my speakers to make sure I didn't wake my sister's boyfriend. After listening to the song a few more times, I can say that its starting to grow on me. Thanks for the download Bigblah.

The question that always arises when a great manga is animeficated is, is it worth watching? I haven't read the manga so my oppinion is YES.

They're taking FOREVER to release the last DVD. I need to finish this box set. :(

It's just well done, all around. I've really had a hard time finding flaws in the show. And the box set is pretty. :D

Lukage: How's the voice acting? I heard they hired new Seyiuus/Voice Actors for the english TV series (Or was it also new VAs for the japanese as well??) (As opposed to the Voice Actors used in the movie and the OAVs).

As for me, I'm getting episode 7 right now, but the first 6 have been interesting so far :D

After hearing about the 2nd series, I heard that there are two episodes that still haven't been released in Japan yet.

Anyone have any news on this?

Of the first series, 24 episodes were aired, and then there were two exclusive episodes on the R2 and R1 DVD releases. With the second series having aired only 22 episodes, there's probably some DVD exclusive episodes for that one too.

Apparently the last DVD with two exclusive episodes has already been released (2/23).

So I didn't get around to watching the second season until last month and finished it then too. It was quite pleasant, and I enjoyed some of the twists. Keiichi is, um, my hero. :p
