There are details on this album posted in an interview, which can be found on the frontpage of Gamasutra today: Final Fantasy's Uematsu - Record Label, Cello Quartet Remixes.
The discussion is with Hiroki Ogawa, the director of Dog Ear Records, and is a follow-up to a previous article for Siliconera about Wappa's background in videogame music. The interview also touches on Uematsu's involvement in the animated series Guin Saga, the making of The Black Mages live concert DVD, and the cello remix album by Cellythm. The discussion is online also in French and Italian. |
