Turtles In Time Remake: HOW DO YOU LIKE THEM BIG APPLES 3 A.M.?
 

If you don't know the TMNT are celebrating their 25th anniversary and they have a tour going on in the US in which they showed a remake of turtles in time. Right now its only for Xbox live but they are trying on getting it for Wiiware.

This is awesome. TMNT IV is probably my favorite beat 'em up of all time.

I forget to mention that this will be based off the arcade game, not the SNES version. I would prefer to be a remake of the latter because

- You can actually fight in the Technodrome as oppose to being the level for the final boss.


- Bebop & Rocksteady are in it, dressed as pirates.

- Rat King is added as the boss of the Sewer Surfin' level.


- Slash>Cement Head. Not to mention he was one tough motherfucker.


But I shouldn't really complain. It's still Turtles In Time and it's getting a remake.

Original arcade graphics and new HD graphics with minor changes introduced in the SNES version? Count me in. I hope XBox Live will have a co-op multiplayer for this. Actually, wasn't there a versus mode in the SNES version?

Don't know where you reading that, SuperSonic. All reports indicate that it won't have any of the SNES extras or "original arcade graphics." The change in graphics is kinda the point.

Can't say that I like the new look, but I was never huge fan of this one anyway. The time travel theme was a bit goofy for me.

So is there an official release date for this confirmed yet? Either way, I'm buying it the day it comes out.

I've already seen it and it's not bothering me. Only dogs in real life make me uncomfortable. If it's in a movie, a game, a picture or a cartoon, it doesn't bother me, It has to be in front of me, near me, and barking.


Now to get back on topic, an online mode for this game would be nice. Where you can connect with people on Wi-Fi. It'll be a great way to re-create the feeling of going to the Arcades and playing the game with three other random people. Not to mention I'd love to play a traditional beat-em-up with some of you guys. It's a longshot, but hey, the technology is there.

Either way, Original Boss Battle music = INSTANT WIN.

I'm kind of disappointed that the SNES extras won't be in it but I'lll definitely get this game anyway. It's Turtles in fucking Time.

It was in the XBLA thread. Then again, it was a fan who talked about those possibilities.

Hell, I'm getting it on day one. Had so much fun playing this.

And I saw when the Dog Spirit opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the seven beasts saying, Come and see. And I saw, and behold a big scary dog: and he that sat on him had some drugs; and some meth was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer.

And when he had opened the second seal, I heard the second beast say, Come and see. And there went out another dog that was big and scary: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take a lot of drugs, and to probably kill anyone who talks to him: and there was given unto him a replica katana from QVC.

And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, Come and see. And I beheld, and lo a really really big dog, seriously; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand. And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, We must use this to carefully measure all of the drugs we are selling.

And when he had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth beast say, Come and see. And I looked, and behold all the dogs were securely chained up the whole time, and I felt like an idiot.

With this and Smash Up! the TMNT seems to be getting some love this year.

I realized i have'nt beaten this game so I emulated it and beaten it a month ago and now I see this.
needless to say I'm pretty happy to see it.
