Wolfenstein Enemy Territory
 

Wolfenstein Enemy Territory is a free MMOFPS that takes back in World War II. The game maybe old, but graphic is amazing for such a free FPS in my opinion. The game is fast paced, not so much of team-operation involved.

*Unlike most FPS, sniper units suck for sniping down bastards from long-range.

If I keep go on about this game, it may take ages to describe, so I think it would be better for you (and I) to test the game yourself. (What do you have to loose anyway?)

About the game.

Unlike ET, this game is more like "swat" style of a game. There is "terrioist" and "swat" or what ever the "good" side is called. This game is slow paced unlike ET, but really, it is funner then ET if you ask me. Unlike ET, you can't go up and spray on bastards' face by moving side-ways while shooting.

EVERY MOTION IS SLOWED DOWN EXPECT RUNNING. YOU CAN'T JUMP FOR SHIT IN THIS GAME.

I was an addict of Return to Castle Wolfenstein in 2001/2002. I played all the time when I wasn't in classes, and I played in leagues. I vowed never to become so addicted to a game ever again, but then WoW came along!

I play Enemy Territory occasionally, but I think it pales in comparison to the original RTCW, even if it has some nice ideas like construction and command posts, etc.

Addendum: I just realized how ancient that first screenshot is. It is a beta shot of Fueldump, when it looked most like the Forest map from the RTCW single player game. Fueldump was allegedly based on the forest map, and I can definitely see the influence.

E.T is boring now. It is about who can move side to side with better aim. Try the True Combat: Elite. Now that game needs some strategy and team work. Like I said, E.T requires no team work at all.
