Newbie1234 Apr 5, 2006 07:14 PM

Nice job with the list, I'm not really interested in any of the games though. I might be giving Battlefield 2 for 360 a rental, but that's about it.

Ryuu Apr 5, 2006 07:25 PM

Wow...there are only two games I even have the slightest bit of interest in. I mean, everything else is just something I don't even want to touch or I don't have the system anyways so it doesn't matter.

April 24, 2006 Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories
April 25, 2006 Ace Combat Zero: The Belkan War

And the first one is probably not going to be worth it since it's a PSP game ported to the PS2.

nazpyro Apr 5, 2006 07:42 PM

Nice list, indeed. The only thing that stands out here for me is FIFA World Cup 2006. This means I probably won't be getting anything this month, which is good as the games I'l be playing for the next 4 or so months are already queued up anyway.

evergreen Apr 5, 2006 09:38 PM

I second Brain Age. It's been looking interesting ever since I saw it on Nintendo Power.

Mucknuggle Apr 5, 2006 09:52 PM

I just found out that Guilty Gear XX Slash is being released in Japan this month. This has me excited as it is probably my favorite 2d fighting series. I can't wait until an ISO comes online.

Wall Feces Apr 5, 2006 10:02 PM

Odama is what I'm looking forward to this month. A good, quirky game keeps me on my toes. I can't wait for it.

Megalith Apr 5, 2006 10:12 PM

April 25, 2006 Outrun 2006: Coast 2 Coast

SouthJag Apr 5, 2006 10:15 PM

I wouldn't mind checking out Atelier Iris 2 and Tomb Raider Legend on the PS2. Metal Saga's also got my interest peaked.

Rockgamer Apr 5, 2006 10:22 PM

The only game I would consider getting this month isn't even on the list! I'll definitely be getting Guilty Gear Dust Strikers for the DS, which is coming out on April 18th. Other than that, anything else I get will be something that's already out.

What a crappy month for me (except for my birthday). What can I request for my birthday presents now ? Money. Like every year, I guess.

Anyway I have plenty of games to get busy until... well, something great will be released.

JasonTerminator Apr 6, 2006 02:22 AM

I'm considering picking up Dreamfall: The Longest Journey, since the original was pretty damn amazing.

I'm tempted to pick up Condemned: Criminal Origins for the PC since I hear it's actually superior to the 360 version, but I can wait if it's not. I want Tomb Raider Legend, but I'll wait until I get a 360 for that as well (At this rate, I'll be searching for a deal on one this summer.) Guild Wars Factions sounds nice, but I don't play Guild Wars enough to make it worth it right now.

Liberty City Stories is one of the only things I'm interested in on the PSP, and now it's coming out for PS2. I'm not sure if I should wait and get it on PSP when I get one or not. And I still haven't played Atlier Iris 1, so I'm in no hurry to get the sequel. Outrun 2006 sounds like a joke at this point, but Sega has surprised me in the past.

Of course, the only thing that matters is ACE COMBAT ZERO, DUH, but then again, EVERYONE is buying that.

Elixir Apr 6, 2006 03:04 AM

April 25, 2006 Ace Combat Zero: The Belkan War
April 25, 2006 Atelier Iris 2 ~The Azoth of Destiny~

Hahaha. Awesome. Except Atelier Iris seriously needed to pick up the pace since it was such a snoozefest, I certainly hope they've improved on the story.

I see Dragon Ball Adventures is in there as well. I'm not that much of a Dragon Ball fan, but this game I've played and it's really nice. The whole Dragon Ball Z thing with the sagas became so overused on the PS2 with the Budokai games and rubbish, not to mention that there's a few hundred GBA Dragon Ball Z games which are all the same. Adventures is one Dragon Ball game actually worth playing, which is very rare indeed.

solid_snake Apr 6, 2006 03:56 AM

looks like tomb raider legend is one of the biggest releases this month.

lol this was one of the few reasons I wanted to get a PSP and now it's on PS2. Can anyone tell me the advantage of getting it on PSP over getting it for PS2. I'm sure there probably isn't any but I'd like to know in the case that there is.

Confirmed. Are those other games even for real. Everyone should stop kidding themselves and give up already.

You fail at Megalith speak.

Also - Atelier Iris: Eternal Mana 2 looks good. Ace Combat as well I guess.

Fixed because your original post sucked balls.

Are you trying to question me? Get out of here. :boxing:

Because it's portable 3D GTA?

FatsDomino Apr 6, 2006 11:46 AM

Well besides that of course.

Elixir Apr 6, 2006 11:51 AM

You're right, it's a PSP game, better avoid entirely. :boxing:

I noticed that Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth is set to release onto PC on the 17th of April. Seriously, what the hell? I've downloaded and played a fair chunk of this game, and it's not even released yet? And I've also been told that it's been released for the xbox years ago. So seriously, what the shit.

JasonTerminator Apr 6, 2006 12:05 PM

It was released for Xbox last fall. It's been in development for 3 or four years or something though, garnering jokes akin to Duke Nukem Forever.

I wouldn't be surprised if they managed to port it in a day or something, so I'm guessing they feel there is a better chance of it selling this on the 17th or something.
