It's back now, but it wasn't here a few hours ago, even after someone was told to post there. Hmm.. I wonder what happened?

Azi Mar 2, 2006 08:30 PM

Ya but our precious sheet music collection is gone. I'm sure that the people who made the directory are very sad about that. It took a huge amount of time to create it.

It's most probably unrecoverable now. A pity, but at least here's your chance to rebuild it with better organization.

All of the classical sheet music was organized in an impeccable index by one of our members.

If you mean "with better organization" with regard to the continuity of GFF, then yes, that is a good thing.

Hmm I just got on and the Concert Hall is gone again? A bug perhaps? Or was it taken off temporarily again?

Franky Mikey Mar 4, 2006 11:14 AM

No, it's still there. Make sure you're logged in properly, as it is hidden from guests.

The forum style interface of vBulletin attachments does not lend itself to quick indexing of attachments. I think there are some enhancements that can be made to simplify this process.

For instance, allowing us to list down all attachments in a particular thread, or all attachments made by a particular person, would go a long way in aiding organization, vis a vis time-consuming manual updating.

Better yet, an automatic crawler and indexer (mod-activated on certain threads) would really make my day, assuming it is possible given programming and server cpu processing restrictions :D
