"KHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAN!" - RIP - Ricardo Montalban
 

This is indeed a bad day to be an actor or a fan - Ricardo Montalban has also passed on today, within 24 hours of Patrick McGoohan. Fantasy Island and Star Trek aside, Ricardo was amongst one of the most pleasant, kindly, genuine and absolutely gentlemanly people you could ever hope to meet. He had suffered with severe back problems and a limp after being trampled by a horse while filming Across the Wide Missouri in 1951. He was later confined to a wheelchair toward the end of his life, but continued acting and saying that one word only Ricardo could say ... "Passion".

I don't know if it was the accent, his mannerisms, his slick attitude, his politeness or his acting talent - but the guy could sell *anything*. Even freeze-dried coffee seemed like the greatest thing you could buy.

Oh man I was just thinking about him the other day. This really sucks. :(

Same here. I just bought Freakazoid on DVD and watched the episodes he was in. Your icon/sig reminded me of that. lol.
