Converting FLAC-CUE-files to mp3 or aac
Hello,
I have several files that were made with EAC and I really want that music to be compatible with my itunes. So I need to convert a APE, FLAC file that contains all tracks after eachother to single mp3 or aac files. Can somebody explain how I can do this? Please mods: if this is in the wrong forum don't close this thread. Thanks in advance, Lisztfreak |
Easy task.
You can use foobar2000 for this. Just open the cuesheet and it should automagically load the corresponding audio source file. Then use fb2k's trancoding capabilities to convert the album into a bunch of MP3 files. Don't forget to install a recent LAME version for that. Greets, liquid |
Aaah the first part I knew, but I didn't know I could make single files withh foobar2000
Thanks alot I'll try it! |
Another alternate would be dbpoweramp, it's very good and has a plethora of settings *like v0 and v2 vbr*

V0 and V2 are LAME options and the fb2k transcoder does expose them to the user.
