Square Enix Mystery Bahamut game?
Not sure if this has already become a topic of discussion anywhere on this site, but I couldn't find any other threads on it. The only thing that's been released so far is a teaser site that will reveal more information on monday. Check it out:
ƒJƒEƒ“ƒgƒ_ƒEƒ“ If I could take a guess, the giant under Bahamut looks like it could be Alexander. I hope I'm not violating any rules or anything by making this thread. |
With my amazing powers of clairvoyance, I can predict with 100% accuracy that this game will be called Blood of Bahamut and is an action-RPG for the DS.
The game will also be revealed in Jump magazine several days before the countdown ends. |
Wow, I think this is worth keeping an eye on
|
Wow, I searched it and you were right. Still don't see any other threads on here about it though, but thanks for the information on it.
|
Man, from the title I thought they were making another Fushigi no Dungeon game featuring CHIBI-BAHAMUT-CHAN ^____^. Thanks for dashing my dreams. TO PIECES.
|
... Is it bad that I was hoping for a Bahamut Lagoon remake/"sequel"?

That's what I was hoping too. :( |
Gametrailers.com - Blood of Bahamut - Japanese Debut Trailer
I'm at school now, so I don't have sound but from the look of it, it look a lot like Shadow of the colossus to me. I never played or really know what bahamut lagoon was, so I can't comment on that. the gameplay look interesting though. |
Looks... kind of dumb, to be honest. Bahamut Lagoon was an SRPG, I thought the promo art for this game with the darkish, purple skies was a throwback to that game's plot. I guess not.

Square-Enix threads should only be made when they announce a new Rad Racer. |

Whilst I wouldn't at this stage say it looks dumb, I would agree that it looks a little odd, and if purely a succession of massive monster fights possibly not all that interesting. |
I SEE THE BRITISH STILL HAVE NO PROBLEM TRYING TO TELL FREE MEN WHAT THEY SHOULD AND SHOULD NOT DO.
|
So this game is a dungeon crawler with a giant boss at the end. Okay.

It's more of a "What the fuck is this?" |
So, I get emails from Square Enix from time to time, and this time it was about Blood of Bahamut, and included were some wallpapers. I grabbed the 1920x1200 since that's my desktop size, but I know others might have smaller-sized screens, so here's each of them for your enjoyment (?):
•ÇŽ† •ÇŽ† •ÇŽ† •ÇŽ† •ÇŽ† If the links don't work, let me know and I'll just upload them. I'll need more concrete info about this game before I decide if I want to get it or not. From what I've seen so far it looks interesting enough, but looks can be deceptive. |
Who is telling these people that this is still an acceptable way to design a wallpaper
|
I think it's a deliberate move on the part of Sqare to say that since they're still using the same stories they came up with early in the nineties for most of their games they're going to keep using the wallpaper templates they came up with then too.
It's like post-modern retroism or something. |
I dunno, Pang. You have to give them props for the much under appreciated stamp filter. That takes balls. Tiny Asian balls.
