USB Sega Genesis Controller
I'm wondering if knows where I can buy a usb genesis controller OR adapter.
If no one knows where i can find this, a guide or any advice on doing it yourself would be greatly appreciated. Thank You! |
Why Genesis controller, specifically?
PS2 to USB adapters work perfectly fine, plus you can actually use the controller for other stuff then just Genesis. |
Oh man, I had a diagram for how to build your own adapter for Genesis controllers a long time ago. I used a similar one for hooking my SNES controller up to my PC via a parallel port (this being prior to PS2->USB adapters coming out). Hell if I can remember the name though, sorry. :(
I remember it also came with directions on how to hook up NES, N64, and a bunch of other controllers with the proper pin diagrams and stuff like that. Ah ha! I found the drivers I used to use, I think there are schematics listed somewhere on the website: http://arcadecontrols.com/Mirrors/ww...l.com/dpadpro/ http://arcadecontrols.com/Mirrors/ww...o/genesis.html Here's a basic walkthrough I found: http://www.hardwaresecrets.com/article/69 When making my SNES adapter I used paper clips for the pins and soldered them onto a breadboard, but they solder like shit and were a giant headache. |
