Hacking your PSP 101?
 

I've been reading up on people who emulate systems like snes, psx, nes, gba, and basically any other system you can pc emulate, on a psp.

The only thing is I can't find a solid tutorial or newbies guide...

I understand the i need the emulator and the rom (duh)
, but what about firmware type and homebrew? thats where i get really lost. I keep seeing people in forums mention downgrading their firmware or upgrading, and it's really confusing.

Can anyone give me an idea of you start messing with this thing?

I assume you need a homebrew.....after changing the firmware...but i don't know which i'd need.
