Quantum Of Solace's Title Song Is By...

Alicia Keys and the White Stripes' Jack White will make movie history by recording the first Bond theme duet for new movie Quantum Of Solace.

The odd couple will team up to perform "Another Way To Die" for the 22nd James Bond movie, which will hit cinemas in November.

White wrote and produced the song, and will also play drums on the track, according to reports.

Could have sworn that it was a story and decent filmmaking that did that.

That's the popularity of a Bond movie.

No, it defines the movie, not its quality, which is done by the girls and some plot thrown here and there and explosions.

It's even more important than the title of the movie (which is horrible too, this time). Think about it.

Here's what I'm pissed about. The movie will have NOTHING to do with the original book. And the original book would have made an AWESOME movie.

After recovering he was given a break from Bermuda by the governor and sent on an assignment to Washington to negotiate fishing rights with the US. At the same time the governor's wife had a talk with Rhoda just as her affair ended. Masters returned a few months later and decided to end his marriage, although he and Rhoda continued to appear as a happy couple in public. Masters returned alone to the UK, leaving a penniless Rhoda stranded in Bermuda, an act which he'd been incapable of carrying out merely months earlier. But Masters never recovered emotionally, nor recaptured any spark of vitality. The governor goes on to tell Bond how after a time Rhoda married a rich Canadian and seems to be happy. When Bond remarks that she hardly deserved her good fortune, the governor says that Masters had always been rather weak, and that perhaps Fate chose Rhoda as its instrument to teach him a lesson. The governor then reveals that the dinner companions whom Bond found so boring were in fact Rhoda and her rich Canadian husband. Bond then tells the governor Rhoda was much more interesting than he had thought.

While the story does not include action elements, as other Fleming tales do, it attempts to posit that Bond's adventures pale in comparison with real life drama. Bond reflects that the lives of the people he passes somewhat superficial judgements upon can in fact hide poignant episodes.

I want a fucking movie where James Bond just goes to a dinner party, acts like a dick, and then feels bad after.

You'd have to tell me. I wouldn't know if Mama Mia was just Jurassic Park with a new soundtrack done by ABBA.

Although the title theme is an important aspect of James Bond, it's the actual music score that makes the film. We can expect David Arnold will be putting in the famed Bond theme in the score this time around since James is now past his first mission as 007. I really enjoyed Casino Royale's score so I can't wait to hear what's in store for the next one :D.

I'm more than concerned. Alicia Keys is completely overrated, and I'm indifferent about Jack White. When I'm in charge, I'll contract Portishead to do a Bond theme.

Good lord, that's beyond terrible. I think they might've been better off with Jack Black, and that's saying something.

They should just reuse the Casino Royale one. That one was pretty cool.

Seriously what is that crap. If I were in charge of the film and I heard that as the final cut I would have sent White, Keys and Arnold to go back and rewrite it. Keys and White were always a risk, in my view underlining they should have picked skanky Winehouse.

I think David Arnold should've been involved. He and Cornell wrote a good theme for Royale... this new theme, which David wasn't at all involved in, is horrible and doesn't even sound close to being a Bond title theme. I'm still hoping for Shirley Bassey to return. Now THAT would be something.
