Closing for the first kiss
 

Discuss the moment of the first kiss between two people. Are you taking the iniative or are they? What do you do or notice? What are your thoughts about it?

It all depends if you're sober or not.

The guy takes the intiative. It helps if you like the person. I don't want to disrespect the guy who technically gave me my first kiss but I really shouldn't have done it. He was creepy. Meant well and seemed nice but still creepy. I learned my lesson.

While the subject is fine and all, I get the feeling that this is more for your own personal research and reassurances before going through with it yourself? I'm probably wrong, but the way you worded it is suspicious.

My first kiss? I was 7, and it was when two girls were climbing on me at the same time.

I sure got a lot of action when I was a kid.

Can we stop bumping this, because the dude's already made his move and got rebuffed by now.

After a date I've found the best way to tell if a girl likes you or not is asking if you can give her a kiss. I found sometimes they want a kiss on the cheek which is not a bad sign but on the lips and on the first date might mean she just wants sex or is easy.

This is bad because...

She may well be infested with all manner of venereal diseases.

An escalation in a relationship? How the fuck would you ever even consider it a relationship unless you'd already kissed them?

Is kissing people still a big deal these days then? I assumed that kissing someone being something you just do without thinking about it and to all sorts of people rather than someone you're "in a relationship" with was the norm everywhere nowadays. I didn't realise anyone was still that prudish.

Are you seriously saying whenever you have a getogether, or are hanging with your friends who happen to just have a vagina, all kinds of kissing is completely normal?

Because I've never seen this happen unless there's a mass quanity of alcohol consumed.

As much as I may like or dislike that idea, I just don't see it happening anywhere.

Haven't had a first kiss in a while myself, but I do consider it a groundbreaking between two people. If you're comfortable enough to kiss somebody, then you're comfortable to do a lot of things, not limited to but not discluding sex.

He's English, guy. Everyone knows that drinking your weight in alcohol and sucking face with the first slag you bump into is like saying "HELLO" over there.

My first kiss was: "Holy shit, I hope he doesn't kiss me."

Followed by: "Goddamn."

I sort of remember my thoughts going along the lines of "Hey, he's sexy. Hey, I could kiss him and it would be okay. Sweet!" *tackle*

There wasn't a whole lot of noticing going on. In fact there wasn't a whole lot of thought at all going on in my head at time.
