Vista/XP dual booting woes.
I can't boot into XP for some reason, I just get a black screen and no text after selecting it. Vista is fine.
I have XP Pro 32 installed on the first partition, Vista Ultimate x64 on the second partition. XP was installed first. After installing Vista it seems to have changed the drive lettering, could that be why? XP was c: before but D: now. Quote:

I don't know what is causing your booting problem but the drive lettering isn't the reason. The OS that boots is always C:, the other OS is switched to D:
I'd suggest try a repair install on xp. |
