That 2v2 Brawl Tournament
 

Yeah, so welcome to March July Smashness. It's a couple months late, but hell, I'm finally getting it on the road.

Only four teams are fighting for the championship, therefore making my life a whole lot easier.

Just a reminder, here's the rule set:

Double Elimination
4 stock, 8 minutes
All items on - Low
All Stages On
Team Attack On
You are allowed to change characters.

Standard Matches: First to 3 wins
Finals: First to 5 wins

And the winners of this tournament will get 1000 Wii Points each courtesy of Miles!


Current Matches:
Team Landmaster (Miles/Kairyu) vs. Purefood Tender Juicy Giants (nazpyro/Chaotic)
Team Cheeky Bastards (Identity Crisis/Twikite) vs. The Asian Manservants (nuttyturnip/Tritoch)



Please post the time you and your current match-up will fight. This will prevent people trying to enter your match during the tournament.

After your match, Please PM me with the results.

With such a small tourney I don't think it's worth it to offer a reward.

Can we just set it up so any tournament on the site gets a reward from Miles?

I wouldn't blame Miles if he decides not to offer a reward considering how many teams pulled out. 1000 points would be nice, but that's not the main reason I signed up to beat down Identity Crisis.

We should've picked the name of the team from a couple years ago, Purefoods Tender Juicy Hotdogs, or even at one time, Purefoods Corned Beef Cowboys. :tpg:

Since no one else posted it, the Asian Manservants will be crushing the Cheeky Bastards at 9pm tonight.

They shall feel the crushing heels of our victorious feet.

I guess no one remembered to post here after our matches were over. Sadly, the Asian Manservants were defeated 3-0 by Team Cheeky Bastards.

Those cheeky bastards.

I've been trying to get together with Kai all week but he's been too busy playing Pokemon to do anything. He only intends to delay this tournament. That is his master plan, yes.

My Wii isn't even hooked up at the moment since I keep lugging it everywhere.

I still have to contact naz about when he's able to battle. o_o

I was going to see the Dark Knight movie but tickets sold out again. Oh well, more time to perfect my pokemon team and practice Brawling.

Same here. GOD, GETTING THE CORRECT MOVESETS FOR MY POKEMON ARE TAING ME LONGER THAN I'M EXPECTING. ALMOST DONE THOUGH.
