Frank Klepacki to score C&C Red Alert 3
Frank Klepacki Returns To Red Alert - Voodoo Extreme
Apparently he and EA sorted out their differences, as he's just confirmed that he's scoring the soundtrack to Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3. He also mentions in the (very short) video that he's composing a "Hell March 3" for the game. No doubt a nice surprise for fans. |
Completely awesome. We've been writing up a storm about this guy this last week. I love that guitar! It's so freaking cool.

YES! Fantastic news! Well done, EA!

I'm glad to hear that he and EA have ironed out their differences. And, if his previous compositions for Command & Conquer games, we're going to be ones that reap the benefits of it. I'm anxious to hear his new rendition of Hell March 3.

After what has been, in my opinion, one of the biggest mistakes in the world of VGM, I'm delighted to see EA is making up for it by bringing back an essential element to the C&C series: Frank Klepacki! I'm really glad for him, especially since he's been talking about the possibility of doing RA3 for some months. I guess the huge popularity of "Hell March" is what weighted in the balance this time.
Still, I'm not certain he'll do the whole score from what I get from this news bit. Klepacki mentioned he's getting involved in the RA3 soundtrack, "involved" being the ambiguous word here. Hopefully he'll write everything, or the majority, yet I certainly hope EA doesn't plan to bring him in only to provide "Hell March 3" to satisfy the fans and then drop him out... Something to follow. |
Hopefully he's writing the whole games soundtrack and not just "Hell March 3" as Rimo mentioned. Very good news either way for Klepacki fans. Rock on!

Tim Wynn is also on board.
