DVD recording

I have recently had a Philips SPD6000FD lightscribe DVD drive fitted into my PC. Is it possible to record more than two hours of playback on one DVD? I would like to record an entire series (8-9 hours) onto a DVD if possible. The software i am using is Nero 6 or 7.

Any advice much appreciated
