In love with someone in your class, tell or not?

Hmmm...
If you fall in love with someone in your class, is it a good idea to let her know that? If she doesn't like me, she will ignore me for the rest of the semester...

If you have to ask the internet, you're never going to tell her anyway.

Aardark Apr 1, 2006 08:55 AM

Ok first of all let's start with making it clear that you're not in love with her

Lee-chan Apr 1, 2006 09:13 AM

Write a note:

Quote:

I like you. Do you like me? Check one:
[ ] Yes
[ ] No
Sigh, middle school days...

Somehow I knew you'd beat me to it, Aardy. No fair.

Infatuation FTL. Nothing good comes from it.

Moved to ANGST.

It could be worse, you know. She could tell the whole school about it and you'd become everyone's public laughing stock for the rest of the semester. Or she could kick you in the balls and decide never to talk to you again.

Seriously, though. I still don't get how you can ask without having any clue what the answer's going to be. But if it's a no, as long as you accept it and don't pull a creepily clingy Nice Guy act in hopes that she might like you someday, you should be fine. Unless she's a hopelessly dumb bloke, in which case you'll be more than welcome to make yourself feel better by thinking you were too good for her anyway. 8-)

If you told a girl that you liked her you'd probably not get a response back.

dope Apr 2, 2006 03:40 AM

If she's nice and dignified then there shouldn't be anything wrong. Nothing else to do than ask anyway (unless you want to be friends for a long time)

Cyrus XIII Apr 2, 2006 04:34 AM

How close are you with her anyway? How well do you know her? A girl you just see at school and barely ever talk to, now that'd be more like a crush than falling in love and you should probably get to know her a little better and have her get to know you before blurting out the magic words.

I was about to say that.. yeah, so this seems like the good old junior high school days. If this is indeed junior high then don't tell her anything just talk to her and touch yourself. If you get into the same high school with her then make your move fast!!
If you're already in high school then get to know her better first

I strongly liked someone in my class, I never told her (we are still in the same classes to clarify) but she now has a boyfriend.
I didn't tell her primarily as i thought if she said no, then like i'd have to be in the same class as her adn like how weird would THAT be?

Dee Apr 2, 2006 04:07 PM

Seems like you have a crush. I would go ahead and tell her anyway. You don't have much to lose when you're 15 or whatever age you are.

... and as a result, someone else beat you to the punch. Way to set an example, dude! :)
