IEXPLORE.EXE Running in the background?

I have these two .exe files running in the background, and are there from the minute my PC boots-up. In task manager you cannot see them in the applications tab but only in processes and when I go to end these processes they just reappear.

Yes, I have already done a full virus, spy-ware and ad-ware check and nothing came up.

I am guessing these two processes would have something to do with IE, but the thing is that I never ever use the damn thing. As you can see they are eating up quite a bit of memory there so I really would like to get rid of this ASAP.

Any help will be very much appreciated.

EDIT: Ahh fuck I am an idiot, wrong board.

I think you need new spyware programs.

Could you take a screenshot that includes a full list of your processes running after a fresh reboot please?

Also, open an internet explorer window and tell me if you get a 3rd IEXPLORER.EXE or an iexplorer.exe (notice the letter case)

3rd: Do a search of your /Windows/System32 folder for "iexplorer.exe." If you find any in that folder, you have a backdoor trojan. If this is the case, you can attempt to shut down the iexplorer.exe processes and delete the file from the system32 folder manually.

Right, when I open up Internet Explorer I do get a third IEXPLORER.EXE.

I did a search for iexplorer.exe but nothing came up.

Here is the Picture you requested from a fresh reboot.

I don't really see anything there too fishy, although McAfee always makes me cringe a bit these days.

If no one comes up with anything, here are two things to try:

1) Safe mode, just to see if it comes up there.

2) Since you say that they reappear if you kill the process, then kill a different process that is running and try and kill Paint and IE again. If they come back, that program wasn't causing the problem. If they don't, then you have your suspect. (Start with the ones with your name next to them first, since some of the SYSTEM ones will just shut down the computer.)

Okay, one more thing if you could please.

Go to Run and type 'msconfig' and go to the Startup tab and post a screenshot of a full list shown under that tab, please. If possible expand the command column so I can see what is listed in the command area.
