iPod Cases

I have an iPod case already but the clip broke off and I had to make a hole in the silicone screen protector to get easy access to the scroll wheel. I'm basically looking for an iPod case that provides easy connection access, screen protection, no cover of any sort over the scroll wheel and a belt clip. The style iPod that I have is the Classic 80 gig.

Here are some of the cases I've been eyeing:

Amazon.com: Speck TechStyle Leather Case for iPod classic (Black): Electronics

Amazon.com: Speck ToughSkin Rubberized Case with Belt Clip for iPod classic (Black): Electronics

Amazon.com: Griffin Elan Form Hard-Shell Leather Case for iPod Classic (Black): Electronics

This is what I have now:

Amazon.com: Marware 8201-CCBK Sportsuit Convertible Case for iPod 80 GB/160 GB classic (Black): Electronics

Price is really not an issue here, just want quality and no cover over the scroll wheel.

So does anyone have any experience with those above mentioned cases or do they have any recommendations of their own?

I have an older ToughSkin for my 4G iPod and it's pretty good. I don't feel like the device is going to slip out of my hand (that shiny Apple finish is slippery for as nice as it looks) and I don't feel as bad if it takes a small tumble. Drawbacks are that not all dock-based devices will work due to the bulk of the case and it's actually harder to slip into certain kinds of pockets (silk-lined inner pockets, like those on the insides of sportcoats/suit jackets/etc. come to mind).

I have a rubber covering for my 30GB 5G by "Exspect". I didn't get one for a while, but saw it for £3 at the airport and snaffled it up. Adds satisfying bulk and protection.

Cool I'll check those out. Thanks a lot.

Anyone else have any suggestions for iPod cases?

I got a Incase brand neoprene & leather case with a clip from Target, but like you I had to cut out the scroll wheel covering just so it would function properly. It also had a little hole at the bottom for a plug that I had to widen a little, but that wasn't too much trouble. Except for placing in stereo systems, I can keep it in that case pretty much all the time.

It seems like most cases I've seen have that covering over the scroll wheel, but I have a plastic protective label (from Belkin, if it matters) that goes over the whole front of the iPod, not just the screen. So, between that and that my shirt often covering my iPod, and it staying snugly in place on my belt, I'm not too worried about it getting damaged. I'd have to fall right on it or get thrown in a swimming pool for it to get damaged.

I believe we have the same iPod. 80 gig video, I got it just before the nanos came out.
