DAMN YOU HIJACK THIS!
 

Okay I accidentally clicked a few wrong things using Hijack This (trying to remove spy-ware and unneeded updater applications) and some important startup .exe(s) are blocked from starting and my computer takes forever to load.
I don't remember where my OS cd is so booting from the CD-Rom to repair is not an option + i want to keep all of my files and programs. Any suggestions?

put you winxp cd in pc and put this command in run :

SFC /SCANNOW

than after finish restart your pc

Borrow one. It doesn't have to be your own for it to work. It just needs to be the right version.

I have a Vista OS disc is there any way I can upgrade to vista without having all my files deleted?
