Nintendo Go

An email I got from Gamespot mentioned this, and I saw no discussion for it. The following screen shot and text was in it:

Quote:

As exciting as Link on the DS and 16-bit classics on the Revolution are, one of the most compelling stories from last week wasn't even about a game--it was about a name. While everyone has gotten pretty well used to just calling Nintendo's next console the Revolution, Nintendo has almost always employed codenames for its consoles during preproduction. Iwata made no formal announcement concerning the name during GDC, but right around the same time a photograph of a slide, purportedly taken during some clandestine Nintendo presentation, showed up with the name "Nintendo Go" and an accompanying logo. Check out Rumor Control to see what we make of it all.
Because this isn't absolutely a new name for Revolution, there's some room for interpretation, so I wanted to see what others here thought.

I hate it, if Nintendo went with this name over Revolution I would be mighty pissed. This name has nothing, even less character than 64. But I am sure it's just a rumour.

I remember hearing that the rumor of the "GO" name was denied by Nintendo.
God, how I hope so.

Well, let's wait until Nintendo actually confirms something here. =\ I mean, Gamespot's just taking a wild stab in the dark. GO could stand for Gassy Onions for all we know. New Wario game for Rev launch confirmed!
