Mov -> Something useful?
 

Well, my mother visited Napoli this Easter, and she used her Nikon Coolpix L11 to grab some videos. But they're in .mov, the only file format that in my opinion can match Real Media in shittyness. Now my parents wants me to convert the videos and put them together. I tried that converter program, SUPER, but it just keep yelleing ERROR or CANCELLED at me, which I don't like.
Could a freindly GFF person help me converting the files to, say, AVI or MPEG? That'd be great!

MOV is similar to the MPEG4 container format, which is superior to both AVI and MPEG TS/PS.
You're just using the wrong player IMHO.
