Survival knowledge
 

Hi guys.

I might be staying on one of the islands south for Malaysia for a couple of months and was wondering if anybody could help me find some info/websites regarding what plants and food/insects I could find in the jungle there for eating.
I don't have much time, maybe a month or two, so right now I'm trying to do some research so that I can be a little bit prepared.

Any help will be much appreciated.
I hope some Malaysian users can reply :)

The computing forums may not be the best place to ask this sort of question, a lot of us are geeks with no survival skills whatsoever :)
