Pop-ups

I'm currently using Firefox, but for some of the sites, I cannot seem to block the pop-ups such as boxtorrents.com.

I tried going to

Tools-->Options-->Contents but there isn't an option to add sites to pop-up blocker. Only an option to allow.

Have you updated to the latest version or checked for any special pop-up fighting extensions? I'm using 2.0.0.12 currently but I can't remember the last time I had a pop-up problem since using Firefox.

I do have the latest update. For most sites, Firefox does a very good job at blocking pop-ups.

It's certain sites like boxtorrents.com that I frequent that are causing a problem. Even if I do close the ad, another one pops up a minute after that.

When I go to boxtorrents.com my Firefox has that yellow bar that says "firefox prevented this site from opening a popup window." (version 2.0.0.12)

If I turn on my Adblock Plus (with Filterset G) I don't get a popup or that yellow notice bar.

Trigunnerz: get it here

I'm also running it and have no problems with Boxtorrents. Sorry I didn't think to mention this since I thought it was only good for webpage banners and images. Must be more versatile than I thought. :)

Cool. I think that did the trick. It was annoying because I would sometimes get porn ads.

Thanks.
