Answering Machines
Riddle me this.
If you have two phones, both with answering machines set up with unique messages, and both phones share the same line, which message does the caller ultimately end up with? Do the two phones explode? |
Set them to wait for the same number of rings, and both answering machines should pick up. The caller would hear both of them, and be able to record a message on both.
Or maybe just: http://img99.imageshack.us/img99/513...tthevcrlk9.jpg |
What is this, 1998? Everyone uses voicemail now.

Yeah, and you get to screen calls with an archaic telephone answering contraption. I know you can see who's calling on your mobile, but can you hear them explain what the hell they want before deciding to answer them? I think not. Or can you do that with voice mail now, too?
