Total Lunar Eclipse: February 20, 2008

This should be interesting. Next one won't happen until 2010, so if you like this kinda stuff, get your fill now.

2010s gonna be totally useless since the whole spectacle will take place early in the morning AFTER sunrise. So we have to wait until 2015. I dunno about tomorrow, it's gonna be like 4 AM, yes? Maybe I will set my alarm-clock (my cat).

It's 9PM-10PM where I live.

I walked outside an hour ago and noticed the moon was orange and thought nothing of it. Should've stuck around longer. :/

edit: actually, it apparently hasn't happened here yet. What the fuck?

I was so excited about this when I saw it on the news but judging by the weather it's going to be a completely cloudy night around here. Hopefully it will clear up just long enough for me to catch a couple minutes of the eclipse. If not then I guess I'll be reduced to looking at some pictures on the news tomorrow.

Thanks for letting me know, I'll try and keep an eye out for it. It's all gonna go down around 10pm EST here, so I should have nice view of it if these clouds clear up within the next seven hours. It's the moon's big show and the curtains are drawn...

7:30 PM or so here, I'm gonna try to get up on the roof of my office to see if I can get a good view. Whole southern California area is covered in clouds right now, though. :(

Beautiful! I was fairly mad at myself for missing the last one, so I've been hyping this one up. I'm scheduled for partly cloudy weather, but hopefully it won't be too bad.

I believe it to be approximately 3am ish here in the UK, hoping I wake up.

Gonna see this eclipse while riding on my Eclipse. Yeah, I know, so went the fuck there.

But in all honesty, I might pass this one up since I work at 6 AM and need all the sleep I can get.

Normally I'd be out of work by now, but it's school vacation week, so I'm stuck here till well after the eclipse has ended =(

However, looking out of the only window of the projection booth, I have a beautiful view of the moon over Boston harbor... There may be hope!

It's super clear here. Just need to check out of the window to see it. It's half way through the moon now.

Its all red where I'm at. Beautiful. Its surprisingly bright too, for a dark-red moon

We're watching it here too. It's framed perfectly in my living room window, so we have the lights down low and my daughter is on the couch watching intently, asking me question after question.

Beautiful. Glad the clouds parted for a bit.

I saw it as I was taking out the trash this evening. I had totally forgotten about it, so it's a good thing I decided to take it out tonight!
