Can't Right Click On Start menu
 

All of a sudden, I am unable to right click ANYWHERE on the start menu. I'm using XP Pro SP2, and using a classic style start menu. When I go to right click, nothing happens. Any suggestions?

Can you right-click anywhere else? If not, can you right-click after you've closed a few programs?

This might be because your computer is low on memory, and this can usually be resolved by restarting.

Unfortunately I have restarted multiple times. I can right click anywhere else on my computer, and I have even tried a mouse in addition to my touchpad to no avail.

There may be a virus and/or spyware conducting this problem. If running an anti-virus software doesnt solve it, check if everythings working in your comp through device manager and see the settings on your mouse. If it still doesnt work, system restore.

how much RAM do you have in your desktop?

Thanks for replying. I'll give that a try. I have 1 gig of ram in my *laptop.
