Game for learning piano

Is there a game like Typer Shark but for piano? This would be great if such a game exists. I'm looking for something like this so I can learn to read music better. Any suggestions? What about software? Any good piano learning software?

I know of a game called Keyboard Mania, for the ps2, but I'm pretty sure it was only released in Japan. I'm not sure if it could actually help you read sheet music or not.

Yeah, I'm looking for something for the PC so I can use it with a MIDI keyboard. Thanks for the suggestion, though.

Actually, I'm pretty sure that you can hook up a keyboard to the PS2 via a USB cable, though I've never tried it. I don't think that Keyboardmania's what you're looking for, though. It doesn't use actually music notation... I can't really think of a music game that does.

Keyboard Mania confuses me. I'm always expecting music notes, but they have these doughnut like circle things that travel down the column of the key you're supposed to press.

I remember when I was way younger, I used to have JumpStart 4th grade. That had a game in it that made you read notes from a clef and play it. There were these little moving bats that went horizontally across the clef, but the problem was, they didn't show different note values. To tell you to play an eigth note, there were two black bats close to each other, but that's all you can really tell for the note values. =( I still got used to sight reading quickly though, but I think that's all it really teaches you...

Other than Keyboard Mania, that's the only other game I can think of that teaches piano.

I found this software:

I guess it'll have to do...it only displays one note at a time but at least you can change the speed to be real fast.

Piano Wizard... it's a good beginner tool. It comes with a keyboard though, so not sure if you can get it without one.

There used to be one on the NES that came with a keyboard that plugs into the system... I forget what it was called but it was really good!
