A side thread for hockey fans.
On the hockey boards I visit someone linked to this page which allows you to put in any date and see a list of people born with that date. Using that, people have made lines of the best players on the list. Here's mine.
February 3 Dave "Tiger" Williams-Paul Gaustad-Mathieu Dandenault Keith Carney-Frantisek Kucera Jason Muzzati Aside from Tiger Williams (the career leader for penalty minutes), the rest of the line is not pretty. Though I haven't seen anyone with a great line. |
Oh god, I already know my birthday won't be very good.
Using October 20th: Guy Chouinard - Garry Monahan - Jean-Paul LeBlanc Todd Richards - Jim Drummond Mikhail Shtalenkov Let's see... my three forwards are the only three from this day who lasted more than one season, with a combined 904 points. My goaltender spent most of his career backing up Guy Herbert. And my defensive pairing (the only two defensemen with this birthday) have a combined 21 games of NHL experience. |
I was kind of surprised when it came to my birthday which is June 25th.
Top Line: (Center) - Doug Gilmour (Left Wing) - Rene Corbet (Right Wing) - Ken Hodge (Defenseman) - Todd Reirden (Defenseman) - Ernie Dickens (Goaltender) - Brian Hayward Other noteable players that had the same birthday as me are: (Center) - Robert Reichel (Center) - Andy Mcdonald My line is alright I guess. A pretty weak defense. But my front line has a combined point total of 2346 pts with over 1400 of those coming from Doug Gilmour. At least the goaltender is relatively half decent with a good ten years of NHL experience. I never really knew of him till he played with the San Jose Sharks during their rookie season. |
Haha I get the wonder boy. 8/7
