.ROM files

I just want to ask what program can run these files. I've tried Daemon Tools but it can't run it. This file btw is a driver installer.

Its a driver file for the motherboard. The driver for our motherboard went missing so I thought I'd just download it. The motherboard is a AsusTek p5gd1-vm. Imight have made a mistake in downloading though. The site where I got was a bit confusing...do you think this file maybe the BIOS?

The file is a BIOS image for sure. It's probably not packaged with a flashing utility because this one is already integrated in the BIOS itself. At least for my Abit board I have possibility to activate some flashing routine on startup, where the routine asks for a floppy disk (or a optical disc) where the ROM-file resides. It then proceeds (when finding the ROM) with flashing, restarts automatically and voila, you're done.
