I know that this isn't FREE, but heck it isn't worth paying 9 bucks for an online regiesteration anyway. But the game play is awsome though.

(Too bad you don't to choose name, I think it will be always "Major" and err I think it is impossible to change appearence of your chracter unless you regiester >.> )

Soldat is a very good game. I played it a long time in the past but after a while it got pretty dull. One of the best 2D combat games i've ever played. It feels like Unreal, only 2D :p

And without the flak cannon. :(

I have a registered version: very fun game to play!

You can chnage your name, just not your profile name. I used to play it about a year or two ago, but it kinda lost its luster for me after a while. The only reason I play it once in a while (and not even online anymore) is to mess with the weapons mod. But spraying LAW missles even gets boring after a while.
