Hold placed on Telecom Immunity
Just when the Democratic Party hit a new low and prepared to pass a bill granting the Telecom companies retroactive immmunity for their illegal wiretapping, it appears that the single-senator hold has finally been put to good use stopping this horrible perversion of justice.
Dodd's Announcement I normally am not a fan of single-issue voting, but this single action from Dodd has earned my complete and absolute respect and support. As far as I'm concerned Dodd's the only true American left in Congress. I know who I'm voting for in the primary. |
He's still not going to be President.

I fully understand that, but I can finally understand why people vote for the Green party and other such hopeless causes. I've just become one of those people. As far as I can tell, if you threaten to call the Democrats weak on terror, they'd vote to convict themselves of treason. They are quite literally every bit as bad as when the Republicans were in power. Not a single thing has changed except now they're screwing us over while looking incompetent rather than malicious. I'm through with the party.

Take it from a guy who started a Ron Paul thread, don't get in too deep before you test the waters.
