Enable HTML for journals?
HTML was last abused in, what, 2005
I think it'd be nice to have it enabled (for journals, specifically) so people can cross-post entries from other HTML-based journals with images, bold, underline italics etc, without having to change everything first. Thoughts? |
Wasn't FyodorD (or whatever his name was) banned initially because he abused HTML in his journal last year?
If so, I say no. It doesn't take a long time to convert HTML to BBCode anyway, unless you're working with something as long as, say, an essay. |
You clearly have no idea how easy it is to break things by abusing table structures. This is a bad idea and HTML should NEVER be allowed.
Until then, use this: Cool HTML to BBCode Converter v. 1.2 |
I fully support the triumphant return of Glitchingforce.

Look all I want is a way to embed videos that aren't on Youtube, because Youtube deletes videos as soon as they get popular due to mysterious "third-party copyright claims"

html will never be allowed in journals here. Our users aren't mature enough to handle it. If you want HTML in journals, go to live journal.
I'll look on vbulletin.org later to see if there's some sort of hack that allows non-youtube videos. |

Pang, just tell me which sites you want to use other than YouTube. I'll program them in manually.

Or some kind of flv player. That might be cool.
