To be honest, I don't doubt his sincerity either. |
Wow. Ya know his priorities are straight when he puts off thousands of people to take one incidental little phone call. Makes ya feel all warm and fuzzy inside doesn't it?Finally, a politician who is committed towards not giving two shits about the greater whole. A politician that actually pretends not to give a shit in order to feign honesty and whole heartedness.
What a brilliant move on his part. Good thinking Giulani, dood. BRAVO. |
That phone call looked staged. Just a gut feeling.

This is Giuliani we're talking about; of course the call is staged.
This is also Giuliani trying to battle the common perception amongst the religious right (of which I have the misfortune to interact with too often) that he is a cold-hearted politician devoted solely to his self-aggrandizing political ambitions, and a womanizing hedonist with more mistresses than the king of Siam. James Dobson even went so far as to outright state that he would never support a Giuliani presidency in any way. I think his campaign has finally realized that he cannot shirk the influence of the religious right, and is playing this game accordingly. |
