Fileplanet Subscriber Exclusive!

So did anyone get into the Crysis beta in one of the first three phases? You wonder what sort of mines they hit when people sign up for a subscriber account, assuming that the last beta sign-up phase was their only chance, when of course the rest lasted just for an hour or two and the last one going for well over a day (and still is going on). Aren't these sort of schemes just so god-damned bastardly that you want to stab EA for having their name on this game? I honestly think nobody got into the short first three phases, thinking "ZOMG I gotta get into this one and sign up for an account!" Yes, I understand that demos are free and that if people want to sign up for an account just for that, then they're dumb as hell.

Well the game is more hyped for it's single player game then the multiplayer so I'm fine with waiting for the actual demo to check that part out rather then the multiplayer stuff. But good for thoes who got into the beta, I guess.

Also they can't let everyone who wants in to the beta in. Servers for this sort of thing just arn't up to snuff to allow for it so they have to limit the numbers somehow, right?

Well, when you're a subscriber, they've got money to spend on their servers, so yes, they can.

I can't wait for someone to use the CryENGINE and make a fun game from it.

This sounds like a really terrible way of distributing a beta. No joke.

Gone are the days of the developer wanting you to try their product in its early stages, and gather as much interest as possible. Say hello to people wanting you to grab it via paying to subscribe your way into some shitty upload site.

OHHH! Dis!

I kind of liked Farcry, with the exception of its terrible save system that made me curse more often than smile during my times with it.
