So uh, Hans Zimmer, then, huh?

Hey so I can't find a whole lot of information about this; maybe somebody here can explain it. The attached .mp3 was composed in 2000 by Toshiya Kamada for the Japanese musical Endless SHOCK. Seriously I'd love to know the story behind this.

I know I KNOW, accusing film composers of plagiarism is the noble thing to do on the internet (JOHN WILLIAMS IS A NO-TALENT HACK, AM I RIGHT?!?!), but this is admittedly extremely suspect. Anyone have any insight into this?

Seriously though if all you're going to do is bash Zimmer then just get out.

So you bring us evidence that a man steals music — that he steals music from asian musicals, and yet we are not permitted to speak ill of him?

What the hell else is there to say?

Sorry. Maybe provide some information regarding this earlier music, if you have any. Google search turned up remarkably little. I certainly have never heard this music before, but maybe somebody else has. I only asked not to bash Zimmer because it's been done countless times before and people like to jump on him - he's already a controversial composer. Or they attack the genre of film music itself. I didn't want that. I guess I just didn't want posts exclaiming that he "sucks."

The odd thing is I've heard this music before, on some trailer for a movie. I always thought it was the Pirates theme just reversed or slowed down. :|

Why do you care about the info for the earlier music?
I hope they give credit in the pirates ost booklet otherwise I'm pulling out my WTF flag.
