Magna Carta : Tears of Blood
I don't think I've seen a thread about this... and well I just went and purchased the game yesterday, since I'm home-bound for about 3 weeks, I figured I'dd go and get a new game. I'm only about 2 hours into the game that I really enjoy the graphics and the voice-overs are pretty damn best I've seen... The battle system is a bit on the 'slow paced' side but it's really technical which kind of evens it out.
Overall, I love it and I'll be playing it through the week. |
I found it an ok RPG but nothing special. I got it for my birthday right around christmas. I can't remember how many hours I'm in but I

I have the game, but I let my cousin borrow it. I was only about an hour in though..
I thought the game was alright... A little hard at some points. Graphics could've been better, but the design is superb. As far as voiceovers go, they defenitely could've been alot better. Some don't even fit their personallity. |

As for the gameplay and the 'rescuing clerics' mission, that's about 3-4 hours in. Right where I'm at. |
The story is really just about the only thing that holds this game together properly. The gameplay is heavily exploitable being able to use two items per turn, and the sluggish extent of how battles and exploration progresses will piss off even the most patient person.
As expected, the soundtrack and art design for the game is quite beautiful, so I have no complaints there. Just that it's hard to take the game seriously when the gameplay is the most flawed. |
