[Level-5]Makes an RPG/Soccer Hybrid. Called; Inazuma Eleven
 

At first I thought that, this was a weird hybrid game. But when I look at it. It seems really interesting. Which battles this time take place on a soccerfield fought with soccer balls. Rather than swords.



Here's a short trailer to give you a hint what to expect on this game. In case if you plan on importing (or if time permits, pick up the game when it releases to the U.S)

This looks pretty interesting. I might try it if it comes stateside. It's always nice to see new twists and new ideas being put into RPGs.

My only question is, what's the story of the games. What takes place off the feild. Can i assume something like soccer politics/controversy, or is it some epic story of adventure that happens to revolve around soccer.

Unfortunately; Level-5 left that bit out. But, I'm sure that they'll be cruisin' for a late 07 and like with Level-5. I'm sure that we might be seeing this game sometime in 2008.

Well, I always like Level 5's style, so I am expecting none less.

This has been done many times before with the Captain Tsubasa games which i'm sure is where level-5 is drawing inspiraton from as well.

Yeah, Iwata nailed it. This looks a lot like a Captain Tsubasa game. Could be cool if it makes it over, since I don't think any CT game has made it since the very first one on the NES was brought over as Tecmo Cup Soccer Game, although I could be vastly wrong on that one.

I wonder how many people here will be buying this game not because "Oh my god soccer RPG" but because of "Level 5 made a game that I must masturbate to furiously, GIVE IT TO ME NOW"
