Trackback options on post replies
 

I'm not really much into blogging though I know a bit of the terminology.

I recently noticed a "Trackback" field upon replying to posts. This field has the following instructions: "Send Trackbacks to (Separate multiple URLs with spaces): " Can someone briefly explain how this works in a forum setting, and how we can go about using this? In a blog setting, trackbacks work automagically, posting a link to your blog post as a comment... :p

Links to here will get recorded automatically, but mods have to approve them first before they'll show up.

Ok, so how does it work? Let's say I put a trackback to that megascrabble thread in this here post...
