Searching for track title: final fantasy piano rendition

Hi there,

I'm currently looking over my music collection, sorting out bad encodes, encodes where I have a higher quality version or the original disc.

I've encountered some final fantasy 7 soundtrack collection where a lot of tracks were from the original soundtrack (which I own), so I deleted a lot of the files. Now I have a few ones left and trying to find out where these originate from. I have one special track that I find quite familiar, uploaded on my webspace:

It's definitely final fantasy music, the tags are plain wrong. This has nothing to do with xenogears of mitsuda. Can someone tell me where this is from?
I suspect one of the arranged albums, maybe a piano album - but I'm not really sure.

thanks,
liquid

That track isn't on any of the Final Fantasy Piano Collections, or other arrange albums.

The chords are all wacky, so I'm guessing it's a fan interpretation.

This is called Opening Theme from the first Final Fantasy. I believe it was heard when you crossed the bridge at beginning for the first time.

EDIT: Yep, as shown here:

I thought the chords were pretty much as straight as you can get. If anything, an official arrangement would probably be more complex.

But yeah an ID would be appreciated. Pretty soothing stuff.
