CWcheat on PSP custom firmware 3.40OE-A?
 

Ok. I'm trying to port PSX saves over to the PSP. The saves are ready, but the CWcheat I got from the official site can't install. When I run the installation EBOOT, it just says "cannot run game".

Did I download the wrong installer? Can anyone link me to the right one or tell me what I'm doing wrong?

My PSP is currently on firmware 3.40OE-A by Dark Alex.

Try to check the PSP thread, someone linked me to the tutorial there.

But what i did was, I unzipped the files on CWCcheat in the root folder of the psp, after that i went to boot mode (Pressing R at psp booting screen) then enabled the CWCcheat plugins.

:( i know its confusing i'm sorry.

If I need to go to this booting screen to install it, why didn't their FAQ or read me files say so?

Can anyone elaborate? On top of that, SH origins demo isnt working either... Could both these problems be related? Both of them said "game could not be started".

You might want to check your recovery menu (hold R while booting up) for any configuration errors and report back with your settings. Remember to select Kernel 3.40 for the game folder homebrew.

What settings do you want me to post? everything? Thats alot.. o_O Anything specific?

EDIT: It set to Kernal 3.40 already.

Does the CWcheat installer need the Kernal 1.5 one? Is that why it wasn't working?

Try to put it in \GAME150\ so it automatically uses the 1.50 Kernel.

That doesn't explain why SHO doesn't work, though.

SH O works! I tweaked some of the config with anything ISO related... Most of them were disabled for some reason...

Now to check CWcheat.
