Showcase your current anime-related wallpapers, or any good ones you've found. It's hard to find a good resolution wallpaper that isn't filled with cheesy text or Photoshop filter abuse.

It's in a wonky resolution (1538x895), but it fits my widescreen nicely.

Having the previously posted wallpaper making my day for quite a while now, I decided to get a new, and hotdamn, found something fitting:



I've always liked simplicity, if the content is captivating. Leaves nice room for icons too~

I have two in rotation both have been vectorized (either from the get-go, or by me); I so am in love with vectorized anime images (and apparently so is deviantART, because most vector images are anime related).

I haven't actually watched Haruhi yet, but I'm quite interested now, after watching Lucky Star. Still, the wallpaper fits pretty well with my brand new 22" widescreen monitor.

When you say "vector images on DeviantArt," do you mean they actually host the .SVG files? That would be quite badass if they did and I'll have to jet over there and grab some right away. I've vector-traced a few .pngs in the past but they never seem to come out too well. Maybe Inkscape isn't the best way to do it, I dunno.

There's a "vector" category in deviantART, to my knowledge, they are all Jpegs, most if not all though will work very well with the trace bitmap option in Inkscape (provided they don't make heavy use of gradients).

You guys should just scope out animepaper.net for a very large collection of great wallpapers. This is especially directed to people who want wide screen walls, since it's one of the few sites with a decent filter to browse them based on resolution and theres tons of pages even for 1680X1050.

I do use Animepaper.net actually....and I do use a 1680x1050 resolution, lol.

Yep, I also use animepaper a lot. I don't really like the site very much, but iit's a little better than MT (not that I like MT all that much either) simply because you can pick the resolution you want (if the waller bothered to include various resolutions). I wish wallers would really get of the trend of using text so god damn much. Anyway, s'more walls that I like:
