Help with playing GTA - San Andreas on Radeoon 9200
 

ok...this game used to work but now when i launch it all i see is a white screen with blue squares...after a while it'll just lock up. has anyone ever experienced this with san andreas? i have direct x installed and already tried updating the video drivers but it's still doin the same thing. I'm using an ATI radeon 9200 card. any help pls!

Have you tried reinstalling the game?

A cursory Googling suggests that this was a known issue and that patches eventually resolved it, sooooo um

yeah, i've tried reinstalling it twice with no luck. i haven't tried patching because i've been able to play it before just fine but i will try to patch it and see if that works. thanks guys for the suggestions! open to anything else if anyone has any other ideas.
