Another sound car problem!!
 

guys i need some assistance, i lost my instalation cd for my sound blaster live! digital studio, and in creative website there is no drivers for the soundcard(weird, huh) can anyone provide me with the drivers? thanx a lot dudes.

What OS are you using? If you're on Windows XP, it should pick it up on it's own.

no dude, im using win xp, but the system dont pick the sound card. its weird, i dont know why, i think that the model is not in the database or something

i would think that you could install any of the live! drivers and it would work.

if not that, run windows update and see if that does anything- occasionally it will install drivers for items that winxp didn't have originally in its database.

I'll post the drivers later.

yeah grawl, you send those to me a while back, the fact is that those drivers works, but not completly, i get sound from the soundcard, BUT i cant configure a thing, i got error messages starting playcenter, i cant open the surround mixer, and every time i open the control panel, i got a error messager telling that i have to reinstall the application.
sometimes, the soundcard stops working and i have to reinstall the drivers you sent me, this sound card really suck, it imposible to find the right drivers.
anyway i have the drivers you sent to me last time, and unless you delete some important file, i think ill get the same result, but know that i think your driver is the only driver that actually worked on this card.
i cant configure the 5.1, i have to stick to 2.0 channels,
