Running 2 MSN's

I'm interested in getting onto MSN with 2 different nicks at the same time, I'd rather not use a program like Trillian, and other programs like that. Anyone have any options?

You will have to use Trillian. I am not sure if having 2 dissimilar versions of MSN installed will work. Maybe you can try it out and tell us.

You can install a patch from http://Mess.be (their site is a little weird to browse around.)
You'll need a corresponding patch version to a certain MSN version.
The function is called "polygamy."

Be aware that some 3rd party programs on that site has spyware...
but I'm sure that the Mess patches don't.

Another option is a program called StuffPlug. It has a polygamy function also.
You'll also need a certain MSN version for it.

I second this, I use their general patch which does allow polygamy plus extra features to get rid of those annoying advertising banners in the chat and main windows.

install an old version of MSN. So you can use Window Messenger while using MSN at the same time. I did that not so long ago when my sister wanted to be connected 24/7, just like me, on the same computer.
