Cincinnati Fire Kite
Anyone ever try making one of these? http://www.metacafe.com/watch/736030...all_fire_kite/
It's kinda cool, and I really want to try it, but there's not a lot of open areas around here. =\ |
Wow. That's not too exciting as far as "fun with fire" goes. Maybe if you did a whole bunch of them at once, it'd be cool. But even then, you get a few seconds of entertainment from plenty of effort with quantity.
I'd be more content playing with coke and mentos. =/ |
Yeah, I just want to try it to see a flying fireball thing, but probably not worth the effort of having to find an open space. Don't want to risk burning down the house.

This actually reminds me a bit of the gas bubbles we used to light on fire for fun days back in chemistry. Just take a tub full of bubble solution, put a rubber hose on a container holding whichever gas it is you use in chem labs and then stick a funnel into the other end of the rubber hose. Put the wide end of the funnel into the bubble solution so you get a thin membrane of it across the opening, turn on the gas a little and let it turn into a big bubble. Light the bubbles on fire with a candle attached to a yardstick for hours of fun!
