Router Issues with DS and 360

I switched over to Verizon Fios a few weeks ago, and I'm having separate issues with the new router and my DS and 360. I've disabled WEP and lowered the firewall, but I'm still having problems.

1) My DS detects the router at first, then the signal drops to nothing and I get a 52000 error (unable to obtain IP address, I think). If I reboot the router while the DS is on, everything works, but if I turn off my DS to switch games, I have to reboot the router again. I've heard other people with Fios report the same problem, but I haven't been able to find any solutions.

2) My 360 is wired, and connects to XBL just fine. However, in any arcade game lobby, while I can see a list of 25 games or so, I only get gamertags for 5-7 of them; the rest are just --- no longer how long I wait. I can join games with gamertags just fine, but if I try to join a --- game, I get a "connection timed out" error. I would have chalked this up to Microsoft, but last night I tried to join some games I was invited to, and got the same connection error. I could hear the voices of the other players as I tried to join, but then the connection would time out, every single time.

Here's my info:

Modem: ZyXEL Prestige 861

Wireless Router: Actiontec MI424-WR

Ignore the fact that speedtest thinks I'm in Oklahoma. I checked my IP address at another site, and it shows up correctly that I'm in Baltimore.
